About the event
Series 1 Topic: Will I Come Home Tonight?
Discuss the daily fear and threat of violence. Explore how constant fear becomes somatic illness (hypertension, insomnia, pain, etc.)
Series 2 Topic: All Eyes on Me: Hypervisibility & Surveillance
Explore how Black men are constantly watched, judged, suspected, and scrutinized. This connects to somatic symptoms, anxiety, and rage.
Series 3 Topic: Who Will Hear Me If I Cry?
The closing for this series section focuses on emotional permission. End with a call to continue building spaces where men are seen, held, and heard.
